I am not going to kidnap JD Salinger, but maybe some guerrilla art is in order.
A few years back I decided to create what I referred to as "Nature" mobiles.
I created constructs of stones and branches found on the forest floor and suspended them into mobiles using sisal cord and hemp rope. I found it a fun, oddly curious thing to do and an outlet for some of my creative energy. I hung one on the Appalachian Trail, several over the Otis Reservoir in the Berkshires, and 5 in Fenner Nature Center. None have survived, as expected.

It was later pointed out to me that this is rather creepy to those who have seen the "Blair Witch Project", which I have never seen. (I don't like Horror films, life is scary enough). I now have second thoughts about the project.
Then again...
