Bursts

My work comes in bursts.

I have noticed this, it has always been, but now I notice. Working in bursts usually involve long hours and little sleep. You burn out, rest, work another burst. Often things get left undone, waiting for the focus of another burst.

The beauty of my occupation is that we start and finish a show most often in one day. Rarely are you working long-term on anything.

My mobiles are like shows to me.

Lately I am burnt out and discouraged. It seems cyclical.
